30 ADVANCED ENGLISH VERBS
1. chuckle - to laugh to yourself or quietly.
e.g. Leila chucled to herself as she served her husband sn extra spicy dinner.
2. roar - to laugh heartily and laudly(as well as the animal sound)
The audience roared with laughter at the comedian`s joke.
3. giggle - a light laugh which can be silly, often the laugh of children.
4. hoot - a shorter laugh or a fun situation
5. slump - to sit heavily and not supporting yourself very well
6. lean - to give something else so that it supports you, and to bend your body
